Max & Murat is a restaurant in Berlin´s district Kreuzberg, located right next to the "Görlitzer Bahnhof". 

The transformation of the former Arabian falafel store into a Pizza Restaurant was based on a close cooperation with the owner and a tight budget.

The already existing tiles were combined with a rather industrial design: old sewing machine pedestals were used for the small tables, an old door serves as a table in the center the counter is made of over 100 year old sanded wood. The brick walls have been partially exposed.

The logo and name was based on the old German fairy tale "Max & Moritz" by Wilhelm Busch.
